The General Laborer has responsibility for various manual\/physical tasks. To be successful as a general laborer you must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks that require stamina and an eagerness to learn on the job. A good general laborer can understand instructions and carry them out efficiently within the given deadline.<\/p>\n
Principal Duties And Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\u2022 Crate\/Package Product for Customer Orders.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Provide Weights and Dimensions of packaged product.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Test Product for defects\/leaks.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assemble materials.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Read and interpret drawings and work orders.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to work with power tools.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Clean parts and work area thoroughly.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Preference given to candidates with a certified forklift license<\/p>\n

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must have a great attitude and willing to grow with the company.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must always diligently follow safe practices for yourself and team members.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must be able to work in a flexible team environment with job rotation as needed.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must be able to work overtime as needed.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Willingness to cross train for other job functions such as product testing, quality review and Electrical\/Mechanical Assembly.<\/p>\n
Working Conditions<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to use ladders at least 10 feet off the ground<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ability to bend, twist, squat, stand and walk up to 8 hours per day<\/p>\n
\u2022 Must be able to stand, kneel, bend, pull, push and lift 50 lbs. up to 8 hours per day and when overtime is scheduled.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Wear all required PPE including steel toed shoes and safety glasses<\/p>\n
\u2022 Good physical condition and endurance<\/p>\n
